We partner with many of the best universities in the U.S. to provide university preparation programs for international students who wish to study in America. Many students who are academically ready for American universities need a stronger language and cultural foundation. UPP helps those students improve their English and make a smooth transition to their new academic and cultural environments. The program consists of the following 4 critical components:
Global Learning Curriculum: New Mind’s Global Learning Curriculum is designed to help international students gain intercultural competence and become immersed and connected to the U.S. society.
Conditional Acceptance: Issued by an office of undergraduate admissions, Conditional Acceptance is for undergraduate program applicants who meet competitive academic standards for admission but have not yet met minimum English proficiency requirements. After successfully proving their English proficiency level, students will be converted into degree programs automatically.
Intensive English Program: This is a full-time, full immersion, non-credit academic program offered for international students to acquire English proficiency in all key language areas such as listening, writing, grammar, and reading.
360° Total Care™: Our 360° Total Care service is designed to meet students’ core needs, while also creating learning opportunities through community activities. We keep parents informed of their children’s progress, and offer personal advising to each student.
